about me: Joel melnichuk

Hey there, I'm Joel Melnichuk, aka the Tat2d Preacher, and I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself with you.

Life's Twists and Turns:

At 40, life's taken me on quite the journey. I've been happily married to my amazing wife, Ramona, since 2016. Together, we're navigating the rollercoaster of parenthood with our almost 4-year-old daughter and a little guy who joined us in November 2023.

From Canada to California and even Germany:

I’ve lived all over the world but call Canada my home and have worn many hats - from youth and young adult pastor to eventually becoming an associate pastor, to starting managing a number of small businesses. Driven by a love for people and desire to change the world, my passion is clear: spreading the message of Christ by unlocking the truth of his Word!

Social Media/Podcast:

I found an unexpected outlet for my thoughts and experiences through the many Tat2d Preacher Platforms. It is my way of sharing the highs and lows of life, my journey with God, and engaging culture by connecting with those who've faced similar struggles, and have the same questions.

Navigating Darkness:

Life hasn't been all sunshine. Childhood trauma, a broken family, and personal struggles were part of my early chapters. But I'm proof that even in the darkest times, Jesus can rescue you!

Finding Healing and Purpose:

In the midst of personal storms, I sought help from a Christian psychotherapist. Through his guidance, I confronted my past, gained strength, and learned to live life on my terms. The birth of my daughter in 2020 was a turning point, where I was confronted with my previous trauma.

The Unyielding Power of Faith:

My journey is a testament to the unyielding power of Jesus. Despite scars and setbacks, I chose to embrace God's love, turning pain into a story of healing and redemption.

Today:

Now, as the Tat2ed Preacher, I continue walking this path with unwavering faith, believing that beauty can rise from ashes. My story is a reminder that, no matter the challenges, Jesus, his presence and the word of God will give you strength, healing and purpose.

Thanks for stopping by and being a part of my journey. Remember, "God is bigger than the pain."
